Call for Scientific Abstracts
Scientific Abstract submissions are now open
The deadline for Scientific Abstract proposals is January 15, 2026.
Primary contacts will be informed of the decision of the Scientific Committee by February 15, 2026.
Presentation format
The Scientific Committee will select abstracts, based on anonymous review, for the following presentation formats:
- Poster presentations: Posters will be displayed for the duration of the Meeting, with a designated poster presentation session on Monday, April 27th.
- 10-minute oral presentations: 8 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for questions.
- 1-minute rapid oral presentations *NEW*: 1 minute for presentation to “pitch your poster”. No question period (questions will be directed to the poster session).
All accepted abstracts presented by an attendee at the Annual Meeting will be published as submitted in the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation.
Content
Abstract submissions must address one or more of the following: Prevention, Detection/diagnosis, Prognosis/modifiers or Treatment of concussion. Content must clearly include relevant scientific data and demonstrate explicit application to concussion. Abstracts must report on completed and validated work.
Proposal
Your submission must include the information below.
- Title (Make the title brief but informative, clearly indicating the nature of the study).
- Names, affiliations and contact information for presenting author and co-authors.
- Structured abstract (up to 300 words): Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- You will be asked if you would like your submission to be considered for a poster presentation, 10-minute oral presentation, and/or 1-minute rapid oral presentation.

Please note: Decisions of the reviewing committees are final. No revisions will be permitted for accepted submissions prior to publication.
